Can we bring In vendors that are not on your preferred list?
Yes, you are welcome to bring in any professional. We will require a certificate of insurance from them. Please keep in mind that while in other categories there is no fee, there is a fee associated with vendors not on the approved catering list.
Is there lodging nearby?
Yes! We have several B&B’s near by and also love the Unicoi Lodge for a larger room block. Please contact Patrick “Paddy” Nelson when calling the lodge at 706-878-7679
Is there a required end time?
With respect to our neighbors and the City of Cleveland, we require all events to end at or before 11 PM.
What's included in your starter rental fee?
Our rental fee includes use of the property for the entire day as well as setup of tables and chairs.
May we bring In our own alcohol?
Yes. The Abbott Mansion allows for you to provide your own alcohol but we do require a licensed bartender to serve the alcohol. This Is usually handled through your caterer.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes, valet parking is available upon request. We also offer self-parking and shuttle service.
Is a Planner required?
Yes, we require a licensed planner for each event held on the property. A list of preferred planners is provided . You may bring In your own with proof of Insurance from them.
Is your venue handicap accessible?
Due to the inherent intricacies of an old mansion, there are elements of the property that are not wheelchair accessible. However, the major event spaces will all have access.
